Traci Gaffney's Background/Bio
Traci Gaffney is the mother of three children. Nurturing the essence of who they are, their gifts, and their spirits . is her greatest joy and purpose in life.
She has been an entrepreneur for nearly 20 years, starting her own company in 1989 in order to be a stay-at-home mom. She currently owns three businesses, and is a popular speaker and author.
She is a native San Diegan, and one of five children, the oldest of four daughters. She grew up in a family that struggled a lot financially and relationally. As a child, she was always looking for peace, connection and a sense of freedom and being seen.
When she began having her own children, she started connecting and bonding with them from the moment she knew she was pregnant. That is when the seed for her business ~ A Loving Way ~ was born. She had been asked by many people to teach prenatal bonding, because they saw what was possible and what was missing in so many pregnancies and relationships ~ connection, depth and presence. She has now been teaching prenatal bonding for almost 20 years, and also works with families in the area of conscious and intuitive parenting.
Owning a successful business while raising her children as a single parent has presented its challenges. These challenges have been turned into learning opportunities and gifts that she is now able to share with others. She is continually creating ways to balance home and heart with business, and maintaining a sense of self ~ a challenge for many mothers.
Although divorced, Traci has managed to create and maintain healthy co-parenting relationships, which has been a tremendous blessing for her children. Her life experience has been filled with lessons in relationships, connection, love, and acceptance ~ some harder than others. She is a survivor of domestic violence, and now enjoys a healthy, connected and loving relationship with her partner.
Her training includes certifications in Reiki, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Neurological Repatterning, Meditation, Life and Business Coaching, Performance Consulting, and Hypnosis.
She has served on the PTA Board, with MOMS Club International, and For You Network.
In 2008, she was nominated for the Have A Heart Award for Sphere of Influence , and the LA Business Journal's Business Owner/CEO of the Year Award .
Working with families has allowed her to realize this is the gift she has been given to contribute to others. Through this gift, in 2007, she was inspired to create the "Who I Am" Energy Cards. To date, they have impacted the lives of thousands of adults and children, and are the catalyst for this program ~ Life Changing Dream System .
